Podalux Post-Op Shoe

Indications:

• Post-op Hallux Valgus (minimally invasive protocol).
• Post-op Hallux Rigidus (Bunion)
• Protection of painful joints.
• Injuries to the metatarsals.
• Presence of edema or cure, making putting on shoes in the normal way impossible.
• Protection and support for the feet, toes and forefoot in the correct position during rehabilitation.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Podalux / Podalight post-operative shoe allows adaptable stiffness. Remove the rigid plate if the postoperative protocol requires less rigidity.

1. Open the contact closure straps.
2. Pull out the inner sole to remove the rigid plate, remove it, and then reattach the inner sole.
3. Place your foot in the shoe.
4. Close the hook-and-loop straps starting with the distal strap, followed by the proximal strap.
5. Walk a short distance to try on the shoe and, if necessary, retighten the strap. pressure of the closure straps.

• If the contact closure straps are too short or not tight enough, use the strap included with the shoe, to ensure its correct fit. closing. Put the strap on the shoe and adjust it with the contact closure edges.
