The Medical Oxygen Humidifier Bottle is designed for use with oxygen therapy systems to add moisture to oxygen before it is delivered to a patient. It helps reduce dryness and discomfort in the nose, throat, and airways that may occur when breathing oxygen for extended periods.

Key Features:

  • Designed for use with medical oxygen delivery systems.
  • Helps humidify oxygen during oxygen therapy.
  • Clear bottle allows easy monitoring of the water level.
  • Durable construction suitable for healthcare environments.
  • Easy to assemble, clean, and maintain when used according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Suitable for use with compatible oxygen concentrators, cylinders, and flowmeters.

Applications:

Suitable for hospitals, clinics, medical centres, home-care settings, and other healthcare environments where supplemental oxygen therapy is provided.

Note: Use only with compatible oxygen equipment and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for water type, cleaning, and safe operation.

Key Benefits

  • Prevents dryness: Keeps your nose, mouth, and throat from becoming sore or bleeding.
  • Improves comfort: Makes long-term or high-flow oxygen therapy easier to tolerate.
  • Encourages compliance: Reduces nasal irritation so you are more likely to wear your oxygen as prescribed.

How to Use a Bubble Humidifier

  • Fill the bottle: Unscrew the cap and fill the jar with distilled water up to the maximum fill line. Do not use tap water, as minerals can build up.
  • Secure the cap: Tighten the lid carefully to avoid cross-threading and air leaks.
  • Connect to the source: Attach the humidifier bottle directly to your oxygen concentrator or flow meter and hand-tighten.
  • Test for leaks: Set the flow rate to 4 liters per minute (LPM) and block the outlet; the safety relief valve should pop or whistle within 15 seconds.
  • Attach tubing: Connect your nasal cannula or delivery tubing to the humidifier outlet, then adjust the flow meter to your prescribed setting.
